Rio Tinto has introduced this Portal to allow businesses to view expressions of interest (EOIs) for goods and / or services required by Rio Tinto from time to time, and to allow eligible businesses (ie. those that have completed the registration process) to submit responses to those EOIs.

Rio Tinto will decide, in its absolute discretion, which businesses that have responded to an EOI will be invited to respond to a Request Document issued by Rio Tinto for the supply of goods/services that it requires (which may be through a request for information (RFI), a request for proposal (RFP), a request for tender (RFT) a request for quote (RFQ) or any other form of request document issued by Rio Tinto).

Uploading or posting a response to an EOI does not guarantee that Rio Tinto will invite you to respond to a Request Document or that Rio Tinto will ultimately issue you with a Purchase Order or enter into a Contract with you. Rio Tinto reserves its absolute discretion in respect of these matters and will have no liability to you as a result of any decision to award or not award a contract to you.

    l  Provision of traffic accommodation facilities.

    l  Allowance to stockpile rejected material and other rubble to dispose at the dump site approved by CHEC.

    l  Removal of all site establishment facilities and constructional plant on completion of the Works.

    l  Making good of any defects during the Defects Liability Period.

    The requirements below are a summary of the supply of general requirements:

    l  The subcontractor shall establish temporary facilities on site.

    l  The project involves constructing a 4,373-square-meter prefabricated building (including foundation) as the site office, along with a 0.5-hectare concrete mixing plant foundation. The scope of work includes concrete engineering, gravel layer paving, prefabricated building supply and installation, drainage systems, and landscape beautification.

    l  Provide transportation and accommodation facilities.

    l  All temporary facilities and construction equipment on site shall be removed upon completion of the project.

    l  Any defects shall be repaired within the defect liability period.
