Event Supply

 The requirements below are a summary of the items that will be required for the Imbizo Event.

Please note there will be one event in each HC. 

·        Marquee and stage (5000 Capacity)

·        Chairs, Tables, Benches

·        Sound system with portable mikes

·        VIP and standard ablution facilities

·        Security services including Marshalls

·        Catering and water

·        Buses

·        Photography

·        General Entertainment (Poet’s, Musicians, Dancers, Cultural Groups)

RBM requires a team of cattle guards to protect our area.

The purpose of this agreement is to prevent the access of cattle to active mining, rehabilitation areas and to keep the haul roads free from livestock.

·        In-situ Tests: Standard Penetration Test (SPT), Cone Penetration Test (CPT), Dynamic Cone Penetration Test (DCPT), Pocket Penetrometer Test, Pressuremeter Test (PMT) and Dilatometer Test (DMT)

Slag Tapping and Cleaning Process Enhancement

MPH is currently responsible for tapping molten slag, which is transferred from the furnace to T-cups via launders. During this process, slag accumulates on the launders and is manually cleaned by tapping operators at the end of each tap.

To improve safety and operational efficiency, we want to appoint a suitable supplier to design and fabricate a mechanical solution for cleaning the accumulated slag. The objective is to eliminate manual intervention and remove personnel from the line of fire.

Given the technical nature of the requirement, the appointed supplier will be expected to:

• Conduct a site assessment,
• Present a proposed solution,
• Proceed with fabrication upon approval from all relevant stakeholders.

Bush Clearing

The requirements below are a summary of the supply of general requirements

·        Establishment on site.

·        Bush clearing and grubbing of approximately 5ha the RBM site.

·        Provision of traffic accommodation facilities.

·        Allowance to stockpile harvested trees and other rubble to dispose at the dump site approved by RBM/ Rio Tinto .

·        Continuous quality control over materials and workmanship, and compliance with the Particular Specifications with regard to environmental management and occupational health and safety, during all the above construction activities.

·        Removal of all site establishment facilities and constructional plant on completion of the Works.

·        Making good of any defects during the Defects Liability Period.
