1.                Overview of General Supply Requirements

The work comprises the civil work required for the development and preparation of the Tailings Area and associated infrastructure within the proposed new operating mining facility. The Mining and Tailings Related Scope extend adjacent and parallel to the on-lease access road, between the Process Plant and the TSF and it is approximately 3 km. All works shall be executed in accordance with the project specifications, approved method statements, and applicable South African standards, including COTO Standard Specifications, relevant SANS requirements and RBM Standards.

The scope of works entails the construction of two 33 kv overhead powerlines and associated works namely

·        The 9.5km Power supply lines for the tailings and ore dressing plants

·        The 3.5km power supply lines for the booster pumpstation

All powerlines are inclusive of ancillary works like transformers, cabling ,material procurement etc.

This project involves the supply, transportation, assembly, installation and commissioning of modular on-site office facilities to support project management, engineering, supervision and administrative functions within the Zulti South Project area.

The total estimated office area is approximately 2,500 m².

The office buildings shall be constructed using 3m × 6m standard Prefabricated as base modules, combined to form various office configurations.

The Employer intends to procure the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider for providing a complete series of professional personal medical examination for the project staff. Issue the detailed examination report and provide professional medical advice, ensuring that each employee who passes the examination can engage in the project work.

1.      Scope of Services

Interested service providers should demonstrate capability to deliver, but not be limited to, the following services:

·        Hydrogeological investigation and borehole siting

·        Borehole drilling (rotary air, mud rotary, DTH or equivalent methods)

·        Borehole casing (steel or uPVC) and gravel packing

·        Borehole development and flushing

·        Test pumping and yield testing (step and constant discharge tests)

·        Supply and installation of submersible pumps, rising mains, and headworks

·        Construction of borehole plinths, aprons, and protective works

·        Electrical works including cabling, control panels, and power connections

·        Commissioning and handover of fully operational boreholes

·        Preparation of borehole logs, test results, and completion reports

Installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of equipment for a concrete batching plant (SC009)

1. Overview of General Supply Requirements

The Contractor intends to procure the services of a competent and experienced service provider to undertake the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of equipment for a concrete batching plant to be used for construction works. The batching plant will be required to produce consistent, quality-controlled concrete in compliance with applicable standards and project specifications. Please note that the equipment will be provided by CHEC and the bidder is only required to do installation, testing, and commissioning of the equipment.

Hire of VIP mobile toilets for a period of three (3) months for the Zulti South Project (MM008)

Hire of a 50kw generator for a period of three (3) months for the Zulti South Project (MM006)

Supply, Delivery and Installation of fencing and gate for the Zulti South Project (MM009)

Hire of water tanker for a period of three (3) months for the Zulti South Project (MM002)

This project involves 10 Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) crossings, traversing roads, a railway, river sections, and wetland areas. Single-bore lengths range from 60 m to 700 m.

With the exception of one location featuring a DN800 + DN300 dual-bore configuration, all other crossings utilize a DN300 + DN200 dual-bore arrangement.

The total HDD installation length is approximately 6,920 m (cumulative length of all bores), consisting of:

Overview of General Supply Requirements

This project involves the construction of a Self-Supporting Lattice Telecommunication Tower to support microwave communication, data transmission, and operational communication systems within the project area. The tower will form part of the core ICT infrastructure backbone.

Excluding civil construction works, the scope of work encompasses the complete execution of telecommunication tower non-civil works, including:

l Supply of hot-dip galvanized lattice tower structure

l Erection of lattice tower structure

l Installation of climbing ladder, platforms, and safety systems

l Installation of antenna mounting brackets and equipment frames

l Lightning protection and earthing system installation

l Cable ladder installation and routing provisions

l Aviation obstruction lighting installation

l Site reinstatement and finishing works (excluding civil construction components)

The measurement equipment is required as a once off supply for the Zulti South Project
