The
scope of this Expression of Interest (EOI) comprises the complete engineering,
manufacture, supply, delivery, testing, commissioning, certification, and
handover of electrically operated column-mounted jib cranes complete with
electrically driven 270° continuous rotation, electric chain hoists, and all
associated mechanical, structural, electrical, and control system components.
The jib cranes shall be fitted with anti-friction bearing mounted hooks capable
of 360° rotation, complete with automatic safety latches, and shall have the
Safe Working Load (SWL) permanently marked in metric tonnes on both sides of
the jib boom and the hook block. All rotating and moving components shall be
fitted with Button Head Type 21A BSP grease nipples to facilitate routine
maintenance.
The successful Contractor shall provide a fully integrated lifting solution, including detailed engineering, fabrication, transportation, offloading, erection, alignment, load testing, commissioning, operator training, and the submission of all required technical documentation, quality records, inspection certificates, and statutory certifications. The works shall further include the provision of all labour, supervision, plant, equipment, temporary works, consumables, lifting appliances, and safety measures necessary to deliver a fully operational and certified crane installation that complies with the Employer's specifications, applicable international standards, statutory regulations, and project quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete supply and delivery of the jib crane system, ensuring it is ready for safe and reliable operation upon handover. |
