he successful supplier shall provide a complete solution for the manufacture, supply, quality assurance, testing, packaging, and delivery of HDPE geomembrane lining materials required for the construction of the project water reservoir. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Detailed engineering support and technical documentation for the supplied HDPE geomembrane. • Manufacture and supply of approximately 28,500 m² of 2.0 mm smooth High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane. • Supply of geomembrane rolls suitable for field welding and installation. • Factory quality control, inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with applicable international standards. • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), where applicable. • Supply of all quality certificates, material test certificates, and compliance documentation. • Supply of recommended repair materials, welding consumables (if applicable), and spare materials. • Supply of recommended repair materials, welding consumables (if applicable), and spare materials. • Provision of installation guidelines, storage recommendations, and handling procedures. 

The successful supplier shall supply and deliver two (2) new or project-approved 5-ton telehandlers suitable for construction and material handling operations on the Zulti South Project. The equipment shall comply with the following minimum technical requirements: • Safe Working Load (SWL): 5,000 kg minimum. • Maximum lifting height: Approximately 7,020 mm. • Capacity at maximum lift height: Approximately 1,800 kg. • Maximum forward reach: Approximately 3,850 mm. • Four-wheel drive suitable for rough terrain operation. • Diesel-powered engine meeting applicable emissions standards. • Enclosed operator cab fitted with ROPS/FOPS protection. • Fork carriage complete with standard pallet forks. • Hydraulic stabilisation system (where applicable). • Hydraulic stabilisation system (where applicable). • Fully functional lighting, reversing alarm, mirrors, seat belts, and all mandatory safety devices. • Supplied with the manufacturer's operating manuals, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogue.

The successful bidder shall supply approximately 6,000 m³ of crushed stone suitable for use in the construction of a Load Transfer Platform. The material shall comply with the following minimum technical requirements: • Consist of sound, durable, hard, angular crushed rock. • Be free from clay, organic matter, soft particles and other deleterious materials. • Maximum particle size: 37.5 mm. • Plasticity Index (PI): Maximum 4, preferably non-plastic. • Material passing the 0.075 mm sieve: Maximum 5%. • Los Angeles Abrasion (LAA) value: Maximum 30% • When placed and compacted, achieve not less than 95% Modified AASHTO density. • The compacted material shall provide an effective friction angle of not less than 40°. Additional requirements specified are as follows: • Material shall be sourced from a legally permitted quarry with appropriate mining and environmental approvals. • Suppliers shall provide recent material test certificates from a SANAS-accredited laboratory or equivalent approved testing facility. • Delivery vehicles shall comply with all applicable road traffic legislation and project site requirements. • Drivers and delivery personnel shall comply with all CHEC and Rio Tinto site Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) requirements. • Suppliers shall demonstrate their capacity to deliver the required quantities within the project schedule. • All personnel entering the site shall comply with site induction requirements and PPE standards.

The successful supplier shall be responsible for the supply and delivery of two (2) new Tower Cranes for use on the Zulti South Project. The equipment shall be suitable for heavy-duty construction operations and comply with all applicable South African statutory and project requirements. The minimum scope of supply shall include, but not be limited to, the following: • Supply and delivery of two (2) new tower cranes. • Boom length of 60 metres. • Maximum lifting capacity of 8 tonnes within a 30-metre working radius. • Minimum free-standing height of 50 metres. • Tower cranes shall be complete with mast sections, slewing unit, jib, counter jib, hoist mechanism, trolley system, counterweights, operator cab, electrical systems, and all standard accessories required for safe operation. • Provide Inspection, operation and maintenance training. • Supply of all standard lifting attachments, hooks, wire ropes, and safety devices as recommended by the manufacturer • Provide after-sale service and on-site technical support.

The successful bidder will be required to undertake the full maintenance support on 7 day week (6 day site working calender) , inclusive of rigging, towing and off-site repairs as per OEM Standards.

The scope of work shall include the following but not limited to:

·         Provide a fully functional workshop close to site workshop (within 3 km), with all necessary test and repair facilities / equipment / tools

·         Conduct services on the machines as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) at the offsite workshop

·         Conduct breakdown on major repairs at offsite workshop

·         Conduct on-site minor breakdown repairs. E.g. lights, doors and air leaks}

·         Involve the OEM in any warranty related claims

CHEC ZS used a variety of Trackless Mining Machines (TMM) on this construction site such as:

·          Water Trucks (FAW)

·          Front End Loaders (LiuGong)

·          Tipper Trucks (FAW)

·         Tractors, loader Backhoe (LiuGong)

Additional requirements specified are as follows:

·         All maintenance records must be maintained and available for inspection

·         Only qualified trade tested mechanics/ technicians by be utilized

·         All personal working on site must comply with all Site rules and procedures

·         Plan and do On-Boarding for Zulti South as per current procedures

·         Compile and submit a Safety File

·         Conduct a baseline risk assessment for all work on site

·         Conduct Take-5 for all work conducted on site

·         Abide by site PPE requirements (Hard hat, safety glove, boots, glasses, earplugs, long sleeve Hi-vis shirts and pants with reflective strips

The scope of this Expression of Interest (EOI) comprises the complete engineering, manufacture, supply, delivery, testing, commissioning, certification, and handover of electrically operated column-mounted jib cranes complete with electrically driven 270° continuous rotation, electric chain hoists, and all associated mechanical, structural, electrical, and control system components. The jib cranes shall be fitted with anti-friction bearing mounted hooks capable of 360° rotation, complete with automatic safety latches, and shall have the Safe Working Load (SWL) permanently marked in metric tonnes on both sides of the jib boom and the hook block. All rotating and moving components shall be fitted with Button Head Type 21A BSP grease nipples to facilitate routine maintenance.

The successful Contractor shall provide a fully integrated lifting solution, including detailed engineering, fabrication, transportation, offloading, erection, alignment, load testing, commissioning, operator training, and the submission of all required technical documentation, quality records, inspection certificates, and statutory certifications. The works shall further include the provision of all labour, supervision, plant, equipment, temporary works, consumables, lifting appliances, and safety measures necessary to deliver a fully operational and certified crane installation that complies with the Employer's specifications, applicable international standards, statutory regulations, and project quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements. The Contractor shall be responsible for the complete supply and delivery of the jib crane system, ensuring it is ready for safe and reliable operation upon handover.
